Yup, it's another Lode Runner game, this time for WonderSwan... you probably wouldn't believe how popular this series was in Japan. Spread over more than two decades, the Lode Runner series has seen many ports and follow-up games. While this game is generally very simple like all LR games, it is nevertheless a nice addition to the LR line-up and a great action/puzzler for the WonderSwan, featuring new levels, lots of features, "water" (which add a slightly new dynamic to how the game feels on certain levels), and a little story. You can also play with or without a scuba suit (you're faster without the suit, but you may want the suit for certain instances).

The game features over 120 levels spread across five worlds, which vary in difficulty. You climb ladders and trap enemies in pits you can generate to the left or right of your character. There are some spots you can't make pits in and the main challenge of the game is collecting all the gold on a level without getting yourself stuck or caught by an enemy. Generally speaking, it's not the most difficult LR game, but it's more than challenging enough for LR novices and puzzle addicts and is one of the better LR games to start with.
