Yeeeeeeeeessssss....

This is just a short video displaying the awesomeness of the Logitech Driving Force GT that I just recently picked up, and Race Driver: GRID. I was thinking of doing a review on the Driving Force GT, but that's not really necessary at this point as everyone has seen it. However nobody as of yet has given GRID the attention that it deserves.

GRID was a game released in 2008 as a follow up to the excellent TOCA Race Driver 3, and since it's release it's been labeled as a straight up arcade title that purist sim racers scoff at. Surprisingly all the footage here on You Tube shows people playing this game with 200 degree steering when using a wheel like this, and ofcourse the game is pure arcade at that point. However set this game to 900 degree steering and this game's personality changes. I have steering saturation set to 90 percent which is almost all 900 degrees. After playing GRID for a few days with this wheel, it's almost impossible for me to go back to "simulation" games because they now bore me to death.

I am using a Nissan Skyline which is a all wheel drive car, so that is why I can get away with more gas in the corners than usual. It is such a fun car to drive. Not that the Plymouth Cuda is not, but that car gets really loose in the turns lol. I might make more vids showing different cars in the future. One of this game's greatest strengths is that EVERY car feels completely different. If you're a fan of racing games, you owe it to yourself to check this game out.
