I really enjoyed this game because it was just plain fun. The music is awesome and fits the game perfectly. Dubstep does have a place when used accordingly. The gamplay is solid and it feels great when you pull off awesome moves and long combos. The rewind feature is also nice but pointless in race modes. The autolog feature is also a great touch. My only complaint is the fun gets sucked out of the levels where you can fall to your death, but I understand they exist to be challenging and are.

First off I loved the game's presentation because it's from the Yakuza studio and I have always loved their art design and audio. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the characters, their banter, and plot. It was entertaining and thought provoking. The gameplay is a solid third person shooter and has some interesting set pieces. I do wish it had a better new game plus system in place and its main story begs for co-op.
