This is the longplay of the game The Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak, an action and platform game developed and distributed by Taito, released in 1993, first in Europe and then in the United States. The game is based on the film of the same name, released directly for Home-Video
The plot stars Fred Flintstone and Barney, who discover that Pebbles and Bam-Bam are missing and go in search of the children. During the search, the protagonists discover that the children were playing near a volcano and are trapped on the other side of a river of lava. Only one pterodactyl can help rescue the children, but on one condition: five gemstones. And Fred and Barney set out to get these gemstones in several stages.
In the stages, we control Fred and Barney, each with their own abilities. Fred attacks from close range, has a charged attack and can hang from ledges, while Barney uses a slingshot to attack from a distance and hangs from ropes. You need to switch between them to beat the stages. The game had a significant evolution in gameplay, with more precise commands and greater interaction with the stages, in addition to bonus stages.
