Game: The Jetsons - Cogswell's Caper!
System: NES
Version: (US)

This is the longplay of the game The Jetsons: Cogswell's Caper!, an action and platform game for the NES, developed by Natsume and published by Taito. This game was released in 1992 in the United States and in 1993 in Japan and Europe.

This game is based on the cartoon The Jetsons, which was also created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the same people who created the Flintstones. Unlike The Flintstones, which takes place in prehistoric times, The Jetsons takes place many years in the future.
This game stars George Jetson, a middle-aged family man. In this spin-off adventure, George Jetson is ordered by his faithful employer Mr. Spacely Sprockets to put a stop to Mr. Cogswell's profit-making schemes; especially that of a dangerous mining facility on planet M38 is being built.

George Jetson must stop Cogswell from carrying out his evil plans. To do this, Jetson will go through platform stages, where he will have to throw boxes at enemies. In addition to the boxes, the hero can count on items that he receives from his family and that will be extremely useful on the journey, from attack items, shields and even gravitational boots. These items are activated through items in the form of pills and each item received consumes a different amount of these pills, which can be found by lifting boxes and also by defeating enemies.
This game has practically the same gameplay as the Flintstones games, with the difference that we use more ranged attacks. It's a good game based on a cartoon. This was one of the last games released for the NES, back in 1993.
I hope you enjoy the video.
