This is the longplay of the game Power Blade, an action and platform game developed and distributed by Taito and released for the NES. It was released in Japan on April 20, 1990, North America in March 1991, and in Europe on January 23, 1992.

The game takes place in the year 2191, where all cities in the world are governed by a main computer. Everything was going well until the main computer program malfunctioned, causing everyone to panic and chaos to reign in the world. Agent Nova is then called in for the difficult mission of destroying the main computer before it's too late. He must then locate some agents who are in six different sectors. These agents have an Identification Card that guarantees access to the security room of each sector. There, Nova must then defeat the guards and obtain secret tapes.

In the game we control Nova, who needs to obtain an ID Card in each stage before facing the bosses. Nova attacks enemies with a boomerang, which can be upgraded to become more powerful, faster and with greater range. The boomerang can be fired in 8 directions, making the game very dynamic. Furthermore, the hero has grenades to clear enemies from the screen, as well as an item that gives the hero armor, increasing his attack power. But the armor can only withstand three attacks from enemies.

The gameplay is good and very intuitive, the soundtrack is excellent and it is possible to start the 6 initial phases in any order, in addition to accessing the items (grenades and life refills, which can be carried 4 of each) being very easy to do. . A very good game without a doubt.
I hope you enjoy the video.
