This is the longplay of the game Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi, an action and platform game released for the Arcades in 1987 and then for the Mega Drive in 1989.
According to the introduction of the game, the game happens in 1997 in the city of New York. The Neo Zeed empire had previously been defeated and peace reigned, but a new threat arises and it is again necessary for a hero to appear to save the city.
In the game, we control a Ninja, who, accompanied by his faithful white dog, needs to rescue hostages (unlike the Arcade version, where the hero needs to defuse bombs), in addition to facing bosses and bonus levels (where the Ninja jumps from a high place to fire shurikens at enemies).
The game has several stages, each divided into four chapters (the last one was always the Boss), and requires a lot of planning. The Ninja can attack from afar with shurikens, use his sword and kicks from close range, in addition to using his dog to immobilize enemies (which needs to be well planned, as enemies can block attacks), in addition to using wind and fire spells. This game takes place in the universe of the Shinobi franchise.
