Alright, second entry in the list, this time the team doesn't have a name so... this time we have a more standard hack and oh boi, it was something

Gameplay:
Mario is inside a cave and must move forward, that's all. This is the second shortest entry apparently, im not sure if i skipped areas but seeing in LM i did not, so how is this entry? well, it starts like a cave story game, you wake up in a cave and must... travel the land and defeat a big bug? in your journey you encounter labs, caves, ice stages, a building you must climb, a life farmer, it's varied.

Levels:
Alright, here is my problem with this entry, and it's that there's no real cohesive order to this, the first level can be a pain in the ass, it uses the "In-Cave" generator, or, the falling rocks from the cave story hell, the platforms are mostly in the middle and top of the screen, so your reaction window is minimum. Second level had a solid first half altough it was a bit claustrophobic, and with jumps over flying koopas with stiff slopes it can be a problem also. Second half was ok, im not a fan of obscure gimmick levels but this one was tolerable. The ice platform level was boring, i did died a lot in the stage and those were my fault i admit it, but the level is just boring, the only action you do in the level is avoid flying koopas, pressing the switch and jumping in the end, but most of the time you're just standing still, the second part however had more action with the keys. Haunted sewage was strange, mostly for it's location than anything, it was just a standard underwater level, so it was fine. The climbing level was the most bizarre one but i liked it, even if it has some "old hack"/"first hack" vibes. Lab outskirts could of been the first level, it was more easy than the previous ones, so why is it near the end of the game? it's beyond me, other than that this was a good stage. And finally the laboratory, it was a challenge and i like the gimmick of the ghosts, this is probably my favorite stage, and the final boss was... alright, kind of challenging but once you know the attacks and patrons it's fine

Graphics:
This hack has custom graphics and i want to believe that one of the guys likes Cave Story, the intro level, the first level and the climbing level, there's also emphasis on a laboratory feel, but it's never really explained

Music:
Almost every level has custom music aside for 2 or 3 ones, it's varied and it has a certain desolate feel

Conclusion:
Overall this entry was weird, it has a setting, it has the idea but it's never fully exploited, maybe there was plans for more but due to time limits it was... rushed? idk, this was something to experience, and the levels have that feel of "first hack ever" release in the majority of the levels, but other than that, it was fine
5.5/10
