"Low Effort" Heists in Ritual League - How I Made 20 Exalts In About 4 Hours

There's lots of misinformation going around on the Path of Exile subreddit claiming that getting into Heists take a lot of setting up to pay off.
It's not true.
I've been running Grand Heists in trade league after buying blueprints from other players. Unveil all wings, scour the print, don't try to optimize the side chests, just get the curio room.
Obligatory disclaimer: the more people that do this, the lower the value of item drops will become.
Notable drops in the last 21 Grand Heists (mostly level 68-75 with a couple higher ones):
- 2x Replica Soul Tether (sold for 8.2ex total, would be worth more now). Both came from level 70-ish Heists.
- 400 phys DPS bow (sold for 2.2ex after I manually five linked it at a cost of about 40c, so call this 1.8ex)
- 4 decent six links (three sold for 2ex each, one being worn)
- 6 things that sold from the 40c tab (3 six links, 3 good rares)
- Loose currency and essences and delirium orbs
- I've been buying Heist rogue markers and blueprints from other players (have almost a million Heist markers banked). Generally been paying 1ex per 50000 markers, and 5c per blueprint.
"Replicas and Experimented Items" prints are best. "Enchanted Armaments" are a close second. The others (alt gems, currency/trinkets) are still OK but are super high variance.
The 'low effort' strategy:
- Meet all the Heist rogues (to do this run regular contracts with each new rogue you are given)
- Throw 'bad' rogue gear on them. Whenever a piece of rogue gear drops, I ID it, augment/regal if it's magic, alch if it's white, then equip it. No targetted crafting, just any old gear.
- Don't unveil any hidden treasure room. Do unveil wings.
- Scour contracts and blueprints before running (this makes it more relaxed, you can alch on stronger characters).
- Get your rogue XP from blueprints. They level up ludicrously fast, I almost have all of them to 5 and I haven't been trying.
I'm getting about 1ex per blueprint run, they take about 7-9 minutes when not recording, plus you need to do a couple regular Heists as a prerequisite to unveil each wing.
