Lufia 2 codes: An Addendum in Kamirno (regarding hidden enemies)
Excuse the messed up text at the end. This is the second upload. ;_;
After trying out the debug code I discovered something that I kinda suspected anyway. The mask (i.e. black void o' doom) masks other rooms on the same map in dungeons. So when you remove that mask via the debug code's mask command you can see all of the rooms that are present on the same map. Wandering around in the void with the mask turned on will cause you to run into enemies and access doors and stairs present on that map that you normally couldn't get to without going the normal route.
Oh look what I figured out in a 20+ year old game and am probably the last to know! XD
Since the maps scroll endlessly, if you loop the map the enemies and NPCs will disappear and none of the stairs, doors, chests ect... will work. The map may glitch up a bit too. You will come across invisible healing tiles and I'm not sure if they actually work. I think the graphics are just repeating endlessly due to how things are programmed. But only the proper part of the map has all event and exit data.

You need two controllers for this. Since my second controller is borked and I hate using it, I set my keyboard as controller 2. I am using Snes9X v1.53
Hold in Select on controller 2 while pressing X on controller 1. This activates the code and it will stay activated until you shut down the game or turn off the debug code. You can also do this button combo again to turn it off.
After this hold Start and press X on controller 1 to access the debug menu. Pressing X in this menu will let you switch between EV and TP flags. You can toggle them with A/B change the registers with L/R. You can access the other debug options by pressing Y. And you can bring up the save screen with Select.
