Brain Lord - Escape the arena and lose your entire inventory permanently!
If you use PAR code C08A5601 to walk through walls you can escape the arena. Leaving the room will give you menu access again. Where you can see that all you have in your inventory/equip is a copper sword and a shield. The copper sword is your ordinary starter equipment and can be sold for 1500 g. But the shield, called Shield, which has a endurance of only 6 is an arena only item that sells for a whopping 27500 g. The item description reads "Use in the arena". Everything else is permanently gone. That includes all magic, keys, story items and fairies. DO NOT save. If you do then you have to hack back in any important items.
If you trash or sell your arena gear then do another battle and win, you will find that those items are now gone. However, you can get them back simply by winning another battle. Anything you buy in between then will stay with you as long as you don't equip it before a battle (not sure if this applies to fairies) or leave the arena room during an active battle. You'll always keep your gold regardless.
Your inventory is temporarily changed when you enter the arena. So I assume your normal stuff is stored elsewhere until you win. Since leaving the arena during a battle is not something you are supposed to do it results in the flag to bring back your inventory not being set. Is that correct? It must be written to an address that is only accessed when you victoriously defeat your opponent. Sorry. I'm rusty with this stuff.
I want to credit the PAR code but I got it almost a year ago and can't seem to figure out where it came from now.
And sorry about the sound in places. It's either Youtube or Windows 10's awful video editor. I liked Movie Maker better.
