3Welcome to Steins Gate, a Visual Novel within the Science Adventure's series of Visual Novels. Released originally in 2009, remastered on Steam for release in September 2016.
We follow along the story of a mad scientist named Rintarō Okabe (nickname Hōōin Kyōma) and his long time friend Mayuri Shiina. Mayuri, this delicate flower time and time again meets the hand of death every time we hit between 7pm and 8pm. Suzuha too knows of this and explains everything that she knows.
The truth is hurting, but can be less painful than a lie in certain cases, Rintaro's personality has changed dramatically over the past few hours on the game, not always acting as his fictional character Hōōin Kyōma and sees the reality in front of him. Time, and time again he faces the harsh reality that is Mayuri's death, the choice of sending a cancellation D-Mail or Time Leap, we'll soon see an ending to Steins Gate.
