Howdy out there, everybody! Happy Festivus to all! A donation has been made in the name of every viewer of this video directly to The Human Fund. Even (especially!) if it's no longer the 23rd of December by the time you watch it, because the true spirit of Festivus needs no particular day... and, more importantly, being a non-corporeal amalgam of words and ones and zeroes as far as you're concerned, it's impossible to pin me and end Festivus! (It's a Festivus miracle!)

Now everyone gather around the aluminum pole and get ready for the airing of some grievances, because I've got a lotta problems with you people!

Puzzle Mode
Puzzle 7: Alligator

Another animal puzzle sounds exactly like what I promised before, right? Animals! Middling difficulty and even if the actual shapes used to create the illusion are in the eye of the beholder and require some cock-eyed glances and squinting eyes, they kinda look like what they're supposed to be, right?

The real (subjective) "advantage" to ones like these lies in the fact that they can kinda visually be broken up more distinctively into their component pieces, since they're all so spread out instead of being concise little purely geometric formations.

At first glance, you might actually consider this to be a step down from the Giraffe, considering how much building up went into making that one work and just how easily one could manage to either violate the "no touching" rule or accidentally knock those off-color supporting pieces out of the way. The real "trick" here, I guess, is actually in its extreme width.

You can't really set aside too many off in the unused margins of the play matrix before you might run into some overcrowding issues, which will actually become a really big threat from here on out... although a lot of those cases will actually have a lot to do with whether or not you can manage to avoid making mistakes and having to start over rather than clean up your mess.

Either way you manage to do it, space can very suddenly go from what seems like a non-issue to an incredibly pressing problem before you realize it, especially if you become too focused on the wrong things in the midst of your construction.
