As usual extreme thanks goes to minotaurus, since his heart is made with Commodore 64 plastic and SID chip :D he helped me a lot with C64 games!
So here some notes, directy from his knowledge:
The story was created by Silver (he's the comic writer) where the two lovers Alberto the wolf and Marta the chicken are searching a quiet place where they could be intimate...
He even drew 10 real strips that were inside the actual game packaging; every time you complete a level you'll the last picture, digitalized, of each strip.
Silver didn't know much of videogames so he only asked for few simple rules:
1. every characters had to be as similar as their paper counterpart;
2. characters would not die and even when hit they had to assume funny poses and never look injured.

Instruction manual doesn't describe equipment and weapons you'll find through the game, just some very general advice are provided..let's them more deeply:

EQUIPMENT (lost only when you lose a life)

Helmet: not a real weapon but used to neutralize enemies from the bottom up, useful in the early stages or in the platforming sections where you have to climb up.
Unlike AMIGA version, it isn't actually drawn on screen, so you must keep in mind that you have this power up!

Spring: allows you to jump higher, making some sections much easier

Shoe: allows you to go much faster, very useful but at the same time it can make you somewhat confused in certain parts of the game 😅 better be careful (for this reason in this longplay I won't run too much, hesitating more than you would expect)

WEAPONS (you can only have one at a time, so if you take another weapon it replaces the one in your possession without any selection possibility)

Shot put: has a slightly parabolic range; it goes more or less further depending on how much the button is pressed. An important feature is the bounce effect when you hit an enemy, which allows you to do combos.

Glove: has an horizontaltrajectory, tends downwards when the blow loses power. As the previous weapon, the longer you hold the button down, the further it goes; but be careful since the glove is only effective in the first frames of the horizontal animation, then it bounces off the enemy without hurting him

Bowling ball: not a very powerful weapon but extremely effective for making your way clear, expecially on the latter stages.

When you lose a life you also lose all power ups acquired, a bit like if you were in some shoot-em up game.

This video is part of the videogame endings database, whose goal is to catalogue and create the world's largest archive of videogame endings! (what an humble and not ambitious project :D)
