So here's an example of a corrupted video file after exporting from DaVinci Resolve Studio on the M4 Mac mini. I had 6 crashes before this export doing the exact same thing, which obviously meant that the exported files didn't work.
What's really interesting are the issues that Resolve had trying to playback a file that it had encoded. It was showing the video file as being offline media, even though the clip had just been imported straight into its bin.
For anyone interested. Yes, other resolutions, frame rates and codecs do work for exporting. However, this M4 Pro Mac mini is supposed to be able to playback and export 8K 120FPS video files and 8K 120FPS is also a function of DaVinci Resolve Studio. Plus, my 32GB, 32 GPU core M1 Max MacBook Pro has no problems exporting H.265 using the Apple media engines to 8K 120FPS. So there is definitely something wrong somewhere between the M4 Pro Mac mini, macOS and DaVinci Resolve Studio.
