Today I am taking you along during Easter. I have been volunteering to feed homeless people since the beginning of 2019. It happens a few Saturdays a year and also during special occasions like Easter, Christmas...etc. This time I helped in the kitchen, sometimes I am in the serving team. It depends on where I am needed 🤗. I absolutely love doing it. At the moment, I cannot afford to donate to organizations and rescue groups as much as I would like to but at least I can offer my time and positive energy 🌈🌻.
Sustainability and financial wisdom have also become more important to me, so I take in rescue/abandoned plants for free to save money and shop everything interior design secondhand.
It is such a great feeling to see almost dried up, yellow-leaved, neglected plants, sprout new leaves and new branches. They can teach us a lot about resilience and patience 🌱. And also to actually look up how to take care of plants instead of just guessing around 😅.
