Surprisingly, there's no boss in the Mirage Oasis, though there are some strange looking rocks. You'll also want to look for a dead human to complete a sidequest in the Enclave.
Once you're in the Enclave, tell one of the bargoers about his lover who died in the oasis. Also, take the time to use the teleporters 30 times.
Don't miss the party conversations here, since they explain Luna and Ryudo's motivations for fighting the empire.
