Description:

Adol and Dogi arrive in the city/kingdom of Altago, only to be unfairly arrested by a corrupt knight. Fortunately, King Kiermarl bails them out and asks them to explore the nearby ruins and investigate the legends of the island of Altago landmass.

This game is the first to feature the party system and Flash Guard mechanics, but also ditches platforming mechanics. The skill system is based not on elemental magic, but on weapon-based techniques that consume SP, which can only be gained by using normal attacks and Flash Guard. Basically, it's a completely different beast from the Napishtim games.

Make sure all party members are equipped for battle. Also, make sure at least one person in the bottom section has freeze resist, just to save on Panaceas.

Despite how other dragon warriors supposedly never beat the Iskan elders, Tia goes down far easier than most of the other bosses. It's somewhat justified for the gameplay, since there are three more battles ahead.

[ 10:59 ] Boss: Rul-Ende, the Root of All Existence Bottom Section (Dogi, Mishera, Elk)

The dragon heads can inflict burn and freeze, so White Talisman is helpful here. If you're good with the AOE effects of your skills, you might be able to hit two heads at once, allowing you to expose the core faster.

[ 17:43 ] Middle Section (Aisha, Geis, Cruxie)

You should try to figure out which skills generate the most stun and lock your non-controlled character to those skills, since the boss has really high defense while unstunned.

[ 22:35 ] Top Section (Adol)

Unlike me, you should use an Extra Skill at the start, since the first phase is the easiest to flash guard against anyways. Hopefully, you didn't use too many items in the previous phases, especially Panaceas. Adol will most likely have Crimson Jewel, so he'll need Panaceas to deal with the fear effect in the first phase. The second phase has tougher patterns, though the curving bullet attack is less likely to hit if you move forward.
