Maiden Cops - PC Review - A New Two Player Beat'Em Up
38Maiden Cops is a new 2D Beat'em Up with heavy influences from Streets of Rage, Final Fight, Undercover Cops, TMNT Turtles in Time and various others (See if you can spot the homages) that also adds in a bit of lewd stuff (none heavy) However is it actually any good?
Created by Pippin Games and been in development hell for a long time the game is now finally released. Its OK but at present id say its just OK.
This could be the next Fight'N Rage if the dev goes back and adds in a bit more time to it.
Not a lot needs to be done really, a few rebalances on enemies, making it so the heavy hitter character can pick up weapons, make characters move a bit faster, have the roll and block act quicker.
EDIT - I made a slight mistake in the original video so had to redo a section. However I then realized I hadn't sorted out the character text. Its not a big issue but I couldn't be bothered rendering the video again just for a couple of seconds of text.
