Yars Rising - PC Review - A New WayForward Game
4A review of Yars Rising for the PC. A new telling of the franchise (from Revenge and Recharged) created by WayForward and Atari.
Join Emi and her friends as they uncover a mystery about Robots, Aliens and a whole lot more than they expected. A simple hacking job sadly isn't what's on the cards for Emi.

As for this game what can you expect? Welp heres some extra info.
Gameplay length.
If your looking at doing everything on your first play through then your looking at around 9-11 hours.
Anything to unlock?
If you complete the game once you unlock 'Professional Mode' which just means you take more damage.
You also unlock Emi's office outfit (which is hideous) which is strange because if she goes undercover shouldn't she of had this in the beginning.
How many Boss Battles.
Oddly not that many actually. I was expecting to face off against several bosses after the spider lady but strangely you dont.
How many Endings?
I think there's just 1 from what I can tell. It's rather short and unsatisfying too if I'm honest. You fight a BS pre-final boss that cheats and then fight the final boss, get a short comic ending and then credits roll.
We'll be adding it to the channel but after everything you go through the ending itself is very weak.
Yars Rising is a fun game and I had a lot of fun with it. Whilst it was short it was a nice adventure. I just wish that there was more of it and that the game was longer. Especially since parts of the story just feel left unfinished or unanswered.
