Make Custom Capture Points in Portal! -Battlefield 2042 Rules Editor
In this video I show you how to make your own custom capture points for modes in Battlefield 2042 and give you the code to get you started! This is the first video on this topic and I think I will be doing another one at some point shortly to extend this just a little bit, especially for those of you who might want a bit 'more'.
This has been a little while coming and I'm sorry again for the delay, but as I've been working on my brand new mode, using an extension of this code and a lot more, I struck in a load of problems that I needed to fix and it took a lot of time!
Anyway, here it is finally. In the absence of a spacial editor from Dice (which might well be a way off) I think this does a pretty good job of doing the same thing.
There is room for efficiency improvements and I would be curious to know how this performs when scaled up. I have only used it with small groups, and it works fine, but it is really inefficient and needs a few tweaks to fix that. Not something for most to worry about, but I do..
Let me know in the comments what you think of this as a solution. Do you think this is a good solution for now? Will you use it?
As always, please send me codes for me to play if you do! I do play them when I get them :)
