Want to make your own survival/horde.wave based mode using battlefield 2042 portal? Well I have created a full game mode and included the code for you to experiment with and change to meet whatever you need! This video runs through the basic Battlefield 2042 web server set up for this mode and then looks at how you can customise my code to create your own unique twist on this mode.
With this video I have taken a slightly different approach. This mode is really a bit too big for a tutorial (or at least one that can fit reasonably into the youtube format). So I have instead created the code in a way that allows you to just copy it and make it your own with just a few slight adjustments.
I did share this mode a little while ago with the intention of sharing the code, but unfortunately, between work and the second arrival of covid into our home, things got waylaid a bit.
I have seen the developments with Portal over the last few weeks and I have to say I am pretty excited to see that this actually might become the focus for 2042 going forward.
I'll keep trying to get these guides out as and when I can.
