Making The Structure Block Swapper Automatic - Talon's Oasis - Ep 109
7The Swap Zoo is only manual, and today I want to make it change automatically every day, so we can see each zoo exhibit while running around the world. We'll be trying to set that up with the constraints of not making the redstone stick out too much.
The Swap Zoo is a device that uses structure blocks and command blocks to alternate between different zoo exhibits (turtle, fox, and llama) while only displaying one at a time. It's pretty cool!
Extra Stuff:
- I considered using a calibrated sculk sensor surrounded by wool to detect only the button presses and mask out the doors, but the space was too cramped below to have much of a wool barrier, not to mention it wouldn't detect the daylight detector.

- Turns out dawn lasts for exactly 81.5 seconds and dusk lasts for 83.45 seconds, so roughly 3 minutes total of trade off for the button.
Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
