Man I'm OLD! Where Did You Start Your Video Game Journey?
Where did you start your video game journey? For many gamers of a certain age, old farts like me, we started our video game journey with the Atari 2600. While other home consoles had been around for a few years before its release, the 2600 really elevated things to a different level. You didn't play video games, you played Atari. The terms had become ubiquitous, just like facial tissue and Kleenex. As time went on, however, the video game crash of 1983 did in this once great system. But Atari has persevered over the years, and some ownership changes, and they are now celebrating their 50th anniversary. They just sent us their new Atari 50 cartridge for the Nintendo Switch (also available on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation.
About the Game from Atari:

Initial Thoughts:
This is one amazing collection, and so deep too! Like the average person knows about the Atari 26oo and a lot of the arcade games, but the fact that there are games on here from the Lynx, Jaguar, 5200, 800, and more is really impressive! One of the only reasons I bought a Jaguar was to be able to play Tempest 2000 and Cybermorph, and both are here!
If you are a history buff, the history section is absolutely amazing. Going through the decades, there's so much content here that I just love! I think this is a fantastic collection, and the games look fantastic on modern hardware.
Where did you begin your video game journey? Mine started with Pong, but really got going with the 2600, but let me know your story in the comments!
