To get 5 stars on this level you need:
29 total kills
7 Gruesome (red) Executions
Complete in less than 20 minutes

Be playing on hardcore.

We begin in the basement of Starkweather’s sprawling manor. He’s locked himself away in the top floor penthouse and the captain of the Cerberus guards has the key. To make it even more secure, they have deactivated the elevator in the basement control room. We have to get the key and turn the elevator back on, in any order we like.

0:00 Across the hall from basement, you can grab the glass shard from the broken picture. There are many pictures throughout the level that you can break to grab more shards. There is also a sickle in the basement, so if you are using a handgun from last level (this is another level where you have everything from the previous level) and want to switch to a stealth based game, you have that option.

You can lure at least one guard into the basement to kill, sometimes you can get a half dozen of them to follow you into there and use the shadows against them. I got quite a few this time.

6:35 When you kill a certain number of guards, it triggers this cut scene where the captain of the guards is being moved to a more secure location. That location is on the second floor of the opposite wing, the Guard Room. Unless you run into the captain along the way, that is where he ends up. More on that later.

10:55 When you leave the basement, you discover security cameras are everywhere. If you walk past one Cerberus comes running, but you will only encounter one that you can’t find a way around, where you enter the great hall at 18:30. The rest of the cameras you can walk around.

20:50 once you have dealt with all the guards in this wing, you can use this hallway as a choke point to take out any guards who come running when you shoot this security camera. See at 22:40.

23:20 Save point in the great hall. There are lots more guards on the way so be ready.

29:00 This time I got lucky and attracted the captain of the guards into the hallway, note he shows up green on the radar and has more health than the other guards. After I take him down I grab the key. Now to turn the elevator back on in the basement.

34:53 There is a guard in the elevator room who usually can’t be lured by a safe point. Shoot him and reactivate the elevator. This will trigger another rush of guards.

36:32 this is a less good spot to use to take out guards because they usually can rush you and got some rounds off at you, but it still can be used. Since we already took out the captain it’s just a matter of taking out the guards and heading up to the elevator.

40:03 Across the hallway from the surveillance room is an office marked Head of Security. This is where the Captain will be hold up if you didn’t kill him on the lower level. He will be in there with several guards and won’t come out, won’t respond to lures. If you run in, there’s no way you won’t be gunned down. You have to nudge the door open and use as cover to take out the guards one by one, only opening it up far enough to view one guard at a time, so they can’t all blast on you at the same time. Much easier to catch him downstairs as you can see.

40:44 and now, into the elevator, for the final act!!!!!
