MARDEK is a retro-inspired RPG set in a lore-heavy world that blends together fantasy and sci-fi. Its initially lighthearted story soon evolves into a deeper exploration of moral ambiguity, told through a whole lot of dialogue both thought-provoking and ridiculously silly.

I am playing the Nineveh Mod, a fan-made mod that retools the game, adding new skills and equipment, tweaking enemies and generally sprucing up a lot of graphical elements.

So, Animus lowers his MDEF as a reaction to physical attacks. Using items doesn't trigger reactions. Thaumahawks do a lot of damage.

I think Animus needs a rework.
