Mario & Luigi had finally encountered the vicious Cackletta & Fawful, who were responsible for stealing Princess Peach's voice. They may be even more evil than Bowser!

Eventually, they decided to crash the Koopa Cruiser that Mario, Luigi, and Bowser were using to reach the Beanbean Kingdom. This had everyone on board crash into the Stardust Fields.

Specifically, the Mario Bros. landed on the Mushroom Kingdom side of the boarder, which was guarded by the Border Bros. In order for the Mario Bros. to get to the Beanbean Kingdom side of the boarder, the Boarder Bros. challenged them to a minigame of Boarder Jump.

In Boarder Jump, you must jump with both Mario & Luigi at the right time to jump over the ropes that those Boarder Bros. will try to sweep under their feet. Each Mario Bro. gets 3 tries to not let the ropes touch them, but the first one that loses all of their tries will cause the minigame to end.

You keep dodging the ropes while the flagpole in the back raises its flag to the top. That will gauge how much longer you'll have to keep playing this until the challenge is done. You'll also get more fireworks the less times you miss.

You only have to play 1 Boarder Jump challenge in order to continue on, but you can come back and go for more challenges. These will keep getting harder and harder, but your reward for beating them are some beans: The yellow Hee Beans. The harder challenges you win, the more Hee Beans you get at a time. In general, these yellow beans are the ones you get from minigames.

These boarder jump challenges keep going up, and may even change their naming as you go:

- Boarder Jump 2

- Super Boarder Jump

- Super Boarder Jump Sunshine

- Complete Boarder Jump

The Complete Boarder Jump challenge is a full-scale marathon of the previous 4 challenges all in one go! You'll now when the next challenge is about to start during this when the Boarder Bros. do nothing but hop in place for a little bit.

There will be more minigames like this throughout the game, which means more Hee Beans to win!

After crossing the bridge to the other side of the boarder. One of the Boarder Bros. sends the Mario Bros. off with a Beanbean Map, a map of the entire Beanbean Kingdom that they'll need on their journey to hunt down Cackletta and save Princess Peach's voice!

Now to actually go through the Stardust Fields!
