This is the Cherry Cup in 150cc, and if you are wondering, I don't have any plans to show the DLC cups on 50cc or 100cc, as that saves the time explaining about many things in the description.
I play as Petey Piranha, another newcomer to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, well he is not really a newcomer, as he was playable in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, and he is also playable in Mario Kart Tour. Petey Piranha is a heavyweight character, and while in the same speed class as Rosalina, King Boo, and Link, he is in the same weight class as Bowser and Morton, where they are the heaviest characters in the game. The vehicle combination I went with is Badwagon, Off-Road and Parafoil, and for vehicle combinations for Petey Piranha, the Standard Kart, Standard wheels, and Super Glider is the first one, and that is one almost every character has, the second one is Circuit Special, Standard wheels, and Super Glider, the third one is Badwagon, Off-Road, and Super Glider, and the fourth is Flame Rider, Monster, and Super Glider. Petey Piranha uses the same vehicle combinations as King Boo, and he is Petey Piranha's rival in the Grand Prix, this could be a reference to Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, where King Boo was Petey Piranha's default partner.
The Cherry Cup is a reference to the Double Cherry from Super Mario 3D World, and the tracks in the Cherry Cup are Tour Los Angeles Laps, GBA Sunset Wilds, Wii Koopa Cape, and Tour Vancouver Velocity. Los Angeles Laps is a track that has three sections instead of laps, as that is what it looks to be, where you start on the pier, and then you enter the town area, and on the third lap, or section, you enter a construction-like area and then back to the pier at the end of the race. Sunset Wilds uses its appearance in Mario Kart Tour, and this one is a fan favourite track in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, I do like the remastered music for that course. Next is Koopa Cape, one of my favourite tracks from Mario Kart Wii, and this one uses its appearance in Mario Kart Tour where the tunnel is an underwater area, which was used for this track in Mario Kart 7, and this one of two Wii tracks to be added in Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass. Last track is Vancouver Velocity, this is one of my favourite Tour tracks, and I do like the arena section of the course with the Shy Guys ice skating. With the update, there are three more Tour tracks left, two of which were very recently added into Mario Kart Tour, so we will see what Wave 6 will have.
