The next board is Western Land, characters have the title of "Deputy", and it is themed around the Old West. Our opponent for this board is Bowser the Brash, I play as Mario for this board, and I went with Donkey Kong, Peach, and Wario for the CPU opponents.
Going over Western Land, a train named Steamer travels the tracks, and players can ride on his back, but you have to roll a block, if you get Toad, you move forward, but you move backwards if you get Goomba, and any characters on the track will get sent back to the start, Steamer does move if you step on a Happening Space.
There is Wiggler, who will ask for a hootenanny, which costs 20 coins, and all players gather at Wiggler's place, not much point when you need the 20 coins for a Star.
The Item Minigame is Give Me a Break!, and you have to pull the lever to get the train to stop, and whichever the arrow points to is the item you get, or you get nothing if it stops on Baby Bowser. The Duel Minigame is Quick Draw Corks, where players have to wait for Goomba to say "GO!", and if you press A, you can shoot the other player to win.

Then we have the minigames that made their first appearance on Western Land. Mario Party 2 does re-use some minigames from the first game, Bombs Away was changed where Bullet Bills are fired, and the last attack fired is a large Bullet Bill which can be very difficult to dodge. Day at the Races is a luck based minigame, but it is a very interesting minigame where you get to pick either Thwomp, Whomp, Boo, or Bob-omb and then see who ends up winning the race.
