Mario Party Multiplayer 4: Part 2
3Part two of another multiplayer round of the original Mario Party for the Nintendo 64. Wario (Duck), Princess Peach (SunBurntKen), Donkey Kong (MacdaddyNook) and Yoshi (RyuKasakei) plant Piranha Plants in hopes of stealing stars form each other and become the Super Star of Peach's Birthday Cake.
The primary gimmick of Peach's Birthday Cake is planting star stealing plants. In concept, it's a very interesting and fun idea. However, its execution is far from perfect.
The biggest complaint about this board it that it's tricky to earn up enough coins to purchase a star. To reach Toad, players must spend a mandatory 10 coins to plant a seed that determines which direction they travel in with a chance that one of the four seeds will send them to Bowser to spend additional coins. This means that players must have at least 30 coins when they reach the Goomba, as well as not be unlucky enough to go to Bowser, as there is very little space between that junction and Toad's fixed position on the board. It also costs 30 coins per seed to plant a Piranha Plant, which increases the need for a high number of coins to be able to play the board to its fullest potential.
The minigames played in this video are Bombs Away, Desert Dash, Coin Shower Flower, Buried Treasure and Tightrope Treachery.
