This is Mario's Picross for the Game Boy. It's a pretty solid picross, or nonogram, game; specially for the time and limitations of the console it came out for, and it has a surprising amount of content too. Certainly one of those games I wish I had as a kid, but I did play it quite a bit on the 3DS.

I always found it strange that they decided to localize this one but not the Super Famicom title, or any of the other immediate sequels from the era. Maybe this one didn't sell too well over here? However, you may notice it's made by Jupiter, who continue to make nonogram/picross games to this day, talk about finding your calling!

Want to know a secret? I had to draw the missing part of Mario's moustache for the thumbnail myself. I like to think it looks good.

As usual, the software belongs to its owners, I only record my gameplay for my own enjoyment.
