TLoZ: Oracle of Seasons #7 - Explorer's Crypt
1Having explored some ancient ruins, the Captain of the Piratians now recognizes us as a true adventurer, and opens up to us in search of help with recovering and restoring his prized bell, a gift from a love from an earlier era, when he was still alive.
With the bell back to it's old splendor, the Piratians are now ready to move on from Subrosia, and returning to seafaring. Of course, it would seem they've been landlocked a bit too long, so they decided to stop for a little while to, uh, rest some more. As a silver lining, we can now access the Holodrum graveyard by using their ship as a very fancy bridge.
The graveyard doesn't have a lot to it, unlike the one in Labrynna it's a very standard graveyard. It does, however, house the next dungeon: The Explorer's Crypt.
As a crypt-themed dungeon, there's lots of ghosts and hauntings inside the dungeon. There's a nice recurring element where you must light up torches to cleanse the area from curses set on the crypt by a pair of Poes, that then go on an join forces to fight you as the mini-boss of the dungeon.
The boss is being yet another returning boss from the original The Legend of Zelda: Gleeok. It feels a little random at first, with the dungeon being very undead-coded, but the second phase makes it a bit more fitting!
Anyway, with the 7th Essence of Seasons acquired, the Maku Tree informs us that he is unable to sense the next one... Perhaps it's not even in Holodrum?
