Martial Adept is a feat that allows your character to pretend to be a battlemaster once every short rest. It gives the same choice of maneuvers as a battlemaster, but there is only one superiority die.

Avoid this feat for any character who is primarily a magic user, but it is worth noting that the maneuvers from martial adept do work with ranged attacks in Baldur's Gate 3.
