Hello glorious MAA fans. After recently encountering some of my old videos (namely the 2 I used in this video), I knew I wanted to do a video on an MAA topic. While I've always said the agent was the most game changing thing MAA had ever done, it isn't 100% of what made MAA the best. In reality, it was MAA's mental chess match and puzzle piecing that really was the strongest core component of the game. It was using yoru brain to design "themes" and building teams and gear around it. It was knowing the game's subtle nuances and exploiting them like knowing Spider Man Nori will hit everybody hit by an AOE counter or follow up. This then loops back to providing up to 3 follow ups for any other join in attack to proc. It is this robust combat system that truly made MAA unique and NOTHING has come close since. While the agent was a unique factor and it spawned all the amazing dieas behind gear, it was the "thinking man's game" portion of MAA that just has not shown back up since the game's demise.
