After a brief bit of talking, we star chapter 5 proper here, and it's sorta the second shortest chapter in the game. But of still moderate length. Anyway we arrive at the X Mansion as it's under siege by a bunch of sentinels, with only Colossus and Cyclopes to defend the place initially. But after we arrive, so does Nightcrawler and Psylocke pretty quickly after, thus resulting in an 8 character fight against a small sentinel horde. The sentinels have a bit of a unique design but still recognizable overall here, with cores that actually pop out when you defeat them. After that's over we take Psylocke with us as we pass by someone annoying, and meet Beast in the back as they had obtained the Power Stone for us, but then one of the bigger sentinels show up and transforms into an Infinity Sentinel, complete with a crown!(Transformer reference of sorts?)


We knock it down briefly, but then Mangeto shows up with Mystique and Juggernaut and claim the power stone and we get put on the back foot a bit. Since after taking down one of them, we get forced into the mansion where Juggernaut then chases us through briefly into where Deadpool is making tacos, and gets ticked off at the mess. We then follow them into a more hidden section of the mansion and take care of him in a confined space, ending up leaving Colossus to take care of him while we follow Cyclopes.
