And so we begin by squaring off against the Green Goblin whom reveals he has the Time Stone to battle us with. He's another boss you can only truly really damage once you stun him. And after we defeat him, he loses control of the stone and we catch a bleak glimpse into the future with Thanos taunting us, giving us a look at the nasty big man himself, which is the first in game appearance of him, since he's on the cart of the game and back of the box.


Anyway, Star Lord still had the Space Stone, and while he gives a big speech for us to go out and win the other stones to keep that horrible future from happening, Jessica Jones calls in the middle of it and reveals she has a lead on potentially another stone for us. Heading into New York proper on the rooftops, donning the black suit for Spidey and taking Scarlet Witch and Punisher with us, we meet with Jessica whom reveals Kingpin got hold of a powerful gem and retreated into Shadowland. So we venture inside and encounter the rest of the Defenders, Iron Fist before we enter the temple proper, and Dare Devil further in. But after a quick spat in a trap laden room, we stumble upon Elektra attempting to stop a ritual, only to get used as a vessel for a demon.


We liberate her and she's quick to warn us not to get in her way or else she'll slay us like we did with the mystics and such just now. Here, you actually normally don't get Elektra, you would have to go and clear an infinity trial in order to unlock her proper, but since this is where she would join you, I take her along in the next part.
