Marvel What If Episode 7 Sets Up The Ultron Vision Episode 8 & Episode 9 Finale + Zombies Return?!
23Alright, we gotta talk about what if episode 7 and its ultron vision ending, I’m gonna explain the whole infinity stones situation, how ultron is going to make them work for him, and how this episode’s ending sets up the two part multiversal hero team-up finale.
Alright, so we know from the Loki show that the infinity stones are useless outside of their original universe. That means Ultron cannot use the infinity stones in this party thor universe. And it lines up because you need to question why Ultron would need an army if he has the infinity stones and he can just snap everyone out of existence and fend off anyone who threatens his power. Ultron needs his army because the infinity stones are useless in other universes. And I think Ultron does know that, and his goal is to change that by taking the Watcher’s place which we see that he does in one of the trailers for the show. See, I think Ultron realizes that no matter where The Watcher goes throughout the multiverse, he can use his power regardless of his position, and I think Ultron realizes this.
I think from here Ultron is going to smash together the multiverse into one universe once he retains the Watcher’s position and I have proof. See, to use the stones, the stones must used in their own universe, and the only way to have that be so is if you smash the multiverse together, earth by earth, planet by planet each in their own orbits. See, I mean the mid season trailer from last week confirmed with Party Thor talking to doctor strange supreme, that zombies are a great idea. The only way for Thor to know about zombies is to set up the idea that the multiversal heroes know about the multiverse and different planets, the only way to do so is for when Ultron begins to smash together their separate universes, starting with party Thor’s. All in an effort to make the stones work for Ultron so that he can achieve peace across the multiverse, which is his directive that he follows, and that means for him wiping out the population and building up.
I mean, we know that with these universes smashing together, we will see the endings to our previous stories, like from the mid season trailer, we see the follow up to the ending of episode 2 where Ego seems to be using Quill as a battery like he did in Guardians 2. We also see that ending to the killmonger episode where Wakanda is stormed by force with an insurrection by the dora milaje, Pepper and Shuri in all new scenes. That also means we will hopefully get to see the ending to that zombies episode, heck, I wouldn’t be surprised when Ultron gets around to the zombies, we will get a massive fight between mindless zombies and ultron’s brainless bots; tell me that isn’t poetic. Heck, we could even see Ultron come to the 616 Marvel Cinematic Universe and we can see animated versions of the heroes we have know for over ten years now fight.
I hope that if this two part finale does end up tying up those stories and telling the story of Ultron vs the multiversal heroes, that each final episode is at least an hour long each to give us that huge two hour storyline to cover all the bases.
I’m also curious to know if Ultron knows the risk he will have to make when going to snap his fingers. Remember Ultron could barely survive the concentrated force of the mind stone, Thor’s lighting, and Iron Man’s repulsors, I mean, not to say that Ultron will die from that, because we know if at least one ultron bot is alive, that means that Ultron will still be around, but if he snaps his fingers, he could lose the entirety of his body, and vision’s body too in the process andlose the ability to wield the stones again; so I wonder what he’ll do then, probably take the time to rebuild himself with other bots, but losing the ability to wield the infinity stones for a while could leave Ultron vulnerable for a while.
I think when it comes to the first look of the episode, expect to get that next monday with an ultron vision character poster, and then the following tuesday Marvel will drop the trailer for episode 8.
