So, today it has been trending in the number 2 spot that Daredevil will soon be joining the MCU, now it’s not confirmed, but the rumor started with Daniel RPK who has been a known secret leaker out there in the past, and usually isn’t wrong, and there is quite a bit of proof to back up that daredevil will be showing up pretty soon in the MCU and it’s got everything to do with Hawkeye, and No Way Home. Stay with me.

So, it’s no secret that Daredevil has been rumored to appear in No Way Home as Spider Man’s lawyer, being that Matt Murdock, Daredevil, is a lawyer, personally, I think it’s this lady in front of peter in the car here, but I’ll roll with it now that we have so many characters already in the No Way Home film - and Spider Man and Daredevil are a pretty tight nit duo in the comics and putting him in the No Way Home film alongside Spider Man would be a perfect launching pad for Matt Murdock for his own Disney Plus series, if not his own film series - I mean Daredevil proved that he can lead his own series, so the safe way to approach daredevil is to put him in his own series again - that’s the bigger question if we will see Charlie Cox return as daredevil, of which I don’t see why not, everyone else like Alfred Molina and Willem DaFoe get to return to their characters and I can’t see anyone else really as Matt Murdock
Anyway, speaking of his series, Kingpin is rumored to show up in the Hawkeye series, to be one of the big bads, as one of the confirmed characters, Echo, for the Hawkeye series, she is Kingpin’s daughter from the comics, so a lot of people do believe Kingpin will be back for the Hawkeye series - of course, we have to assume that maybe Kingpin is behind the gangs that are all after Hawkeye and his apprentice in that show. I know that means connecting the Daredevil show and that whole netflix universe to the MCU and It wouldn’t even be far to say that the daredevil show can’t connect to this MCU itself, because there were so many MCU references in that show connecting it to our main universe from the battle of new york to the avengers tower even being visible - so having Hawkeye team-up with Daredevil in that show really isn’t a longshot. I do believe that it is a longshot for No Way Home to premiere Daredevil in it because in late July, early August, Hailey Steinfeld who plays Kate Bishop in the Hawkeye series, confirmed that reshoots for the Hawkeye series was happening, and right around then, Charlie Cox had to drop out of going to an event as a special guest because he had to go film last minute things for a new undisclosed project that he is involved in - so, I think Hawkeye’s disney plus series will for sure premiere not only Kingpin, but Daredevil too so get hyped!
Now, I shouldn’t be so quick to discount the unlikely cameo of Daredevil in No Way Home because the Hawkeye series’ episode 5, which is the second last episode premieres right around when No Way Home comes out, so episode 5 could see Daredevil depart from the Hawkeye series and get out and flee to be in the Spider Man No Way Home film, but even for the MCU, for Fiege, that’s way too fluid and specific of a departure in time for the majority to understand Daredevil in No Way Home, but, I think the fan base is big enough to fully understand and grasp the idea and plays that Marvel wants to make in this instance.
