In this chapter, having recruited the intimidating Krogan bounty hunter Wrex into her party, Shepard returns to Chora's Den, where she battles her way to the headquarters of its criminal owner Fist, and learns that the villain has set up a traveling Quarian, holding important information, to fall into the hands of Saren. Barely managing to arrive in time to save the Quarian, a young lady called Tali, from the hands of Saren's minions, Shepard receives from her the much-desired incriminating data on Saren - an audio recording linking him not only to the Geth, but also to a mysterious race of machines called The Reapers, who supposedly drove the Protheans to extinction 50,000 years ago before vanishing without a trace. Believing that these terrifying machines were the same that appeared to her in her vision, Shepard and Anderson convince the Council to finally grant the Commander the status of a Spectre, so that she can track down and apprehend Saren on her own, without the necessity of raising an entire fleet and sending the Galaxy into turmoil.
[NOTE: This video is part of a complete re-recording of the Mass Effect Trilogy in its Legendary Edition, replacing my previous recordings of the original trilogy. There are no significant differences with the previous playthrough, as the main reason behind the re-recording is not to present a different path, but rather to make use of the enhanced visuals and present everything in higher video and audio quality. In addition to the base Legendary Edition version, the game uses a set of custom-made mods to enhance visual performance even further (LEUITM, MELLO, ALOT, etc.), as well as the "Community Patch" and "Diversification Project" to correct occasional bugs and restore a few pieces of cut content.]
