In this chapter, Commander Shepard and her team finally go out into the Milky Way, but before embarking on her main mission, the newly appointed Spectre decides to take on a few side assignments first, to get a general taste of things (and level up a little before the big fights). These include violently settling a conflict between the Alliance and one of its former officers turned leader of a biotic cult ("Major Kyle"); investigating an SOS message that turns out to be a Geth trap ("Distress Call"); discovering the sad fate of a group of scientists that inadvertently came into contact with a Reaper artifact ("Missing Survey Team"); getting rid of two crime bosses ratted out by the ruthless Helena Blake ("Hostile Takeover"); and investigating the sad fate of Garoth's missing brother ("Privateers").
[NOTE: This video is part of a complete re-recording of the Mass Effect Trilogy in its Legendary Edition, replacing my previous recordings of the original trilogy. There are no significant differences with the previous playthrough, as the main reason behind the re-recording is not to present a different path, but rather to make use of the enhanced visuals and present everything in higher video and audio quality. In addition to the base Legendary Edition version, the game uses a set of custom-made mods to enhance visual performance even further (LEUITM, MELLO, ALOT, etc.), as well as the "Community Patch" and "Diversification Project" to correct occasional bugs and restore a few pieces of cut content.]
