In this episode, after clearing a local cave from dangerous slave-holding smugglers, Elen concludes her business at Seyda Neen and departs on foot for her first destination, the city of Balmora, choosing a relatively short, but adventurous path along the coastline. After a few exciting adventures and encounters on the way, Elen arrives at Balmora, where she gathers some information on the city and its points of interest, does a bit of training, joins the Thieves Guild, and meets up with Caius Cosades, the Grand Spymaster of the Blades, who accepts her into the Emperor's secret agent network but urges her to gather more experience before being sent out on any truly important missions.
