In the concluding episode of The Shivah, Rabbi Stone manages to trace the murders of Jack Lauder and Ethan Goldberg back to the immediate assassin, whom he overpowers with a little help from God and his boxing experience - then takes the whole thing back to the mastermind behind the operation, defeating him in the most rabbinistic way possible. The moral of the story is - always accept your responsibility, and never forget that all synagogues that are gold do not glitter!
