In the first part of Episode 1 of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm, we travel several years back into time before the events of Life Is Strange to be "reincarnated" as Chloe at the age of 16, honing her rebellious spirit as she hitch-hikes away from home to sneak into a remote nightclub (converted from an old saw mill) to see one of her favorite bands. After getting in a violent incident with some rowdy party-goers and rescued at the last moment by the most unexpected guardian angel in the world, Chloe returns back home, where a less violent, but even more upsetting surprise is waiting for her - a request from her mother, Joyce, to let her new boyfriend, whom Chloe hates with all her might, drive her to school.
