Max Payne 3: The Sky Jump Technique
Go flying over walls & onto rooftops with this Sky Jump (plus other gun exploits)
It turns out that breaking out of the 'pick-up-gun' prompts, not only lets you "carry" more guns than Max's inventory allows, it also lets Max zoom around at high speeds as well as making Max go flying up into the sky & out-of-bounds etc.
I've only just found this, so there are still a few "riddles" I gotta figure out before I am able to do up a reliable tutorial. Stay tuned tho...
Points of interest:
1. The "extra inventory spot" glitch works not only for the '"long guns", but also for hand guns. But you can only do the glitch for 1 extra gun at a time.
2. "Carrying" an extra gun lets you discard a gun once empty, whilst teleporting a fully loaded gun to Max's hands at any moment you choose. Strange cutscene glitches occur thanks to this (& other exploits), but that's a video for another day.
3. If you activate the glitch, then do a melee attack on an enemy. The gun won't teleport to Max's hand - but rather - Max goes zooming to wherever the gun lies.
If you set up the glitch, so that an object is in Max's way...Max will often go zooming over the object & ends up flying into the sky/over walls/onto roofs. Luckily he tends to 'overshoot' the gun's location, thus getting you over the top of walls & roofs.
4. I'd test to see if this glitch works in Multiplayer, but that's not my area of interest.
