This is actually my third successful attempt, since I really struggled to figure out the optimal way to use elements. I found that for the Zirus, I had to use Emilie to build counters alongside the Fire/Shock element cards, since she is only required to move in order to build counters while Lea is required to do damage, which doesn't bode well when the boss has its barrier mechanic. The Fire card in particular can deal some decent damage, though it's hard to build to the max counter effect unless both Emilie and the Fire card are upgraded.
