Mega Man 2 Difficult Run Part 7: Quick Man Stage
Dr. Wily based Quick Man on Dr. Light's Elec Man, making Quick Man out of lightweight materials that allows him to reach speeds all the way up to Mach 5. If that doesn't help, he can also use his weapon, Quick Boomerang. This is the weapon Mega Man kills him for.
Like Elec Man, Quick Man is also a bit of a prick when it comes to his skills. He'll race anyone he knows will lose to him, for example.
This robot's stage is quite infamous, because the middle of it has large long beams that cross the whole screen. They are really quick, no surprise there, and if Mega Man touches them at all, he dies.
You can use the Time Stopper to halt these beams, but you may want to conserve them for Quick Man instead. It's your choice, but be ready for what happens beyond the choice that you make.
One flaw with the Time Stopper is that when it's used, it can't be deactivated by any means, and Mega Man can't use shoot while it's active. So you'll have to wait it out until its energy is all gone.
However, it's still Quick Man's weakness, and activating it while fighting him will freeze him in place and slowly damage him. A charged Atomic Fire and Crash Bomber are good substitutes just in case you can't use the Time Stopper at all.
It's funny to see someone so fast explode just because he can't move. Maybe it's because he really doesn't like to stand still for anything.
