Dying after beating the boss is never a good feeling. It can happen in Mega Man 1 because boss projectiles remain active even after the boss is down. It can happen in Mega Man 2 in a very narrow window before the boss registers as defeated. In vanilla Mega Man 3, it can't happen...but, death spikes and pits remain active, so if you put those in the boss room and have the player need to traverse to the center of the screen? Yeah, take a wild guess what happened to me again.
