With the NES Mega Man 1-6 and SNES Mega Man 7 completed, we continue to the next game in the series, Mega Man 8. Normally, I played this on PlayStation or through one of the Mega Man Collection games, but this time I wanted to stream from the Sega Saturn version which has some extra content. Can we defeat Dr. Wily yet again and earn some Retro Achievements along the way?
STORY
Dr. Wily has discovered a new energy source to further power-up his robots. Little is known about this "alien" energy but it appears to be pure evil, and a mysterious robot hunting this energy has a goal of destroying it! While Mega Man battles Bass in another rematch, Dr. Light calls Mega Man to head to a suspicious island where a recent crash from space is indicating powerful energy spikes in the area. Mega Man cuts the battle with Bass short and heads out to investigate the crash.
