Looks like Lan has gained the power to see premonitions as he has a dream where Mega Man is being attacked by the two Cybeasts. Unfortunately, this is happening during class and he gets detention because of it. After school, he turns in the assignment he was given and we get the first of the version exclusivity bits. Depending on your version, a new teacher will come in to talk to Mr. Mach. On Gregar, we have Mr. Match making his return. He's gonna be teaching here, and he wants us to be the first to try out his lesson. So after a brief talk with Iris again, we check it out. He's gonna teach us about Link Navis, which is the new method for playing as other Navis. Unlike in BN5 where besides on the DS version, you could only play as others during Liberation Missions, here you can play as them any time. You just have to go to where they're located to use them. So our first Link Navi is Heat Man. Our objective is to find Kettle viruses in Central Area and delete them. They can only be damaged by Fire attacks and their temperature must reach 100 degrees to be deleted. Once we do that, we have to beat Heat Man in a netbattle and we're finished.

Getting Link Navis also gives you a Cross, which is the new replacement for the Double Soul system. Instead of sacrificing a chip to take the form, we just select it from a menu. And instead of a 3 turn limit, it lasts the entire battle unless you change to another one or get hit by the elemental weakness.

Anyway, on Falzar we get Shuko making her return from BN4. And we'll get into what her Link Navi test is next time. __
