Everything's been going shipshape in this run, so let's go on this ship and see if we can't stop the last of the revolting robots once and for all... until the refights anyway. Honestly, this is probably one of those levels we should've went to sooner since it's on the simpler side of things, but it's always nice to have a cooldown level. Our enemies are spread out enough that we won't get overwhelmed, and the turret positioning isn't as big of an issue as it's been in the past. That combo makes for smooth sailing, which is appropriate for the whole boat theme going on here.
What is interesting about today is that we get the one bot that knows how to attack away from the wall. Yes, Wave Man goes with the triple hop before trying to drop Mega with his main move. I only wish that more bosses were like this instead of the boring battles with Oil and Torch Man. On the positive side, the weapon we'll win here is one of the best in the game. Wish we would've had it sooner, and especially for the little guy in the thumbnail!
Oh well, there's always next time, which will be the final time on Mega Man III DOS. Are you surprised who's behind this? Yeah, I didn't think so. Maybe, just maybe, we'll find a way to get back to our reality yet. A reality where the games are actually good again. That'd be nice.
